Weather Conditions:
Friday, an upper-level ridge of high pressure over California will reduce vertical mixing in the Sacramento region. In addition, light winds at the surface will limit pollutant dispersion. Therefore, particle levels will be low-Moderate. Saturday and Sunday, surface high pressure building to the north of California will generate moderate northwesterly winds, effectively dispersing pollutants in the Sacramento region and yielding Good particle levels on both days.
