Weather Conditions:
Thursday, upper-level high pressure over northern California will produce warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies in the Sacramento region, enhancing ozone formation. In addition, light onshore winds will limit pollutant dispersion. As a result, ozone levels will be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups. Friday and Saturday, as an upper-level trough of low pressure moves into northern California, stronger onshore winds will help to disperse pollutants. However, mostly sunny skies will continue to enhance ozone formation, resulting in Moderate ozone levels on both days.
