Weather Conditions:
Tuesday and Wednesday, an upper-level trough of low pressure approaching the northern California coast will increase vertical mixing and produce moderate onshore winds, dispersing pollutants in the Sacramento region. In addition, cooler temperatures will reduce ozone formation, resulting in Good ozone levels on both days. Thursday, the upper-level trough will move into northern California, enhancing mixing and generating moderate onshore winds. These conditions will disperse pollutants, and cloud cover and scattered showers will limit ozone formation, keeping ozone levels Good.
